Indoor intruder motion detectors and sensors

The Scantronic range of indoor motion detectors features passive infrared (PIR) sensors as well as PIR & microwave combined sensors. Pet tolerance is available up to 25kg, and there are options for wired or battery power, ensuring that the detectors can discreetly trigger wireless alarm systems, whether in commercial premises or home security systems.

With Eaton’s wireless detectors now featuring Scantronic Secure Radio (encrypted, cybersecure two-way communication), all sensors can communicate bidirectionally with the rest of the system, enabling simple controls and access to status reports remotely.

Consider the Application: Choosing a Detector

Passive Infrared (PIR) movement sensors identify threats by detecting body heat movements, making them suited to stable environments such as residential or retail spaces.

Dual Technology sensors are designed for areas that feature fluctuating temperatures, direct sunlight or repetitive movements, as they combine PIR with K-band microwave technology. Dual technology sensors are, therefore, recommended for sheds, garages and warehouses, as well as conservatories with rotating ceiling fans.

All Scantronic indoor motion detectors can be mounted flat against a wall or discreetly in the corner of a room.

Rated for grade 2 intrusion

Approved to grade 2, our dual technology detectors are designed to keep out intruders with some knowledge of the system, a general set of tools and some specialist equipment.

Pet friendly

Pet-tolerant motion sensors ignore movement low to the ground, and are suitable for animals up to 25kg.
